Symposium is our core event wherein speakers from various sectors of the industry come and share their insights on the relevant theme. The 8th Annual Marketing Conclave has theme “Sports & Entertainment Marketing”.

Rajeev Radhakrishnan- Co-founder and Director, T7E

An MBA from IIM Bangalore and a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Trichy, Rajeev is an accomplished sales & marketing professional in the automotive aftermarket space. He brings to bear his multi-disciplinary experience across sales, strategy and marketing in designing and delivering novel solutions from T7E, the company he has co-founded along with a few like-minded professionals.

Rajeev brings considerable experience in both creating and leveraging sports sponsorship properties and was involved in Castrol’s sponsorship of both the FIFA World Cup and the ICC Cricket World Cup. He was instrumental in creating the Castrol Index for Cricket, a tool to analyse individual and team performances across all formats of cricket.

Through T7E, Rajeev and his team are working on developing properties in sports and for the automotive aftermarket.

Biju Nambiar- Head of marketing West India, South Asia, IBM India

Biju Nambiar is currently the head of marketing West India South Asia at IBM India Pvt Ltd. He is responsible for Territory marketing strategy and execution, Generating marketing pipeline, Branding and Client Experience.

He has more than 14 years of experience spanning over IT, manufacturing and advertising industry in various sales and marketing roles. He was instrumental in setting up the Digital Marketing function at Tech Mahindra in the year 2009.

He is the winner of IBM worldwide marketing excellence award in the year 2012, one out of 5 winners out of 40,000 nominations.

He is the active mentor member of National Entrepreneur network of India helping entrepreneurs and startups with their marketing and business strategies. An alumni of SIBM, Pune, India, he is a part of industry mentors consortium for various colleges in pune, India. He also represents the CII members Marketing Thinktank in the region.

Gaurav Natekar- CEO, Mahesh Bhupati Academies Pvt. Ltd.

Gaurav Natekar is a former Davis Cup tennis player for India. He has represented the country for the last 15 years in various international tournaments abroad. He is a seven time national Champion and has won two gold medals for India at the Asian Games in Hiroshima in 1994. He is a recipient of the Chhatrapati Shivaji award for the outstanding sportsperson for Maharashtra in 1996 –97. The same year the Government of India conferred upon him the Arjuna Award for the outstanding Tennis player of the year.

In addition to this, he has worked with ‘International Management Group’ (IMG), the biggest sports management and marketing company in the world. There, he organized events like the Sahara Cup – Cricket, The Gold Flake Open – India’s only ATP Tennis tournament and the Florsheim World Professional Billiards Championships.

Marketing Club is the flag bearer of marketing related events and activities in the institute. It takes great pride in organizing ‘Marketing Conclave’, its flagship event, which acts as a platform for students to interact with the top brass of India Inc. The Conclave also receives participation from prominent B-schools of the country for its student competitions. The club holds innovative events throughout the year to test students’ marketing acumen. It is an ever-evolving committee with regular introduction of new initiatives like “Cinemarki”, to look at the pictures or dialogues of movies’ screenshots through the eyes of a marketer and advertise a product by associating that scene or the lyrics/dialogue with the product.
